With genuine interest, I strive to meet you where you’re at. Using a client-centered, relational approach, we will work collaboratively to navigate your change process. We can explore what’s on your mind and in your heart, figure out what healing means to you, and work towards the changes you’d like to achieve. My trauma-informed approach to counseling is practical and authentic. I believe in approaches suited to the strengths and needs of each unique individual. I use kindness, gentle curiosity and humour to create a safer space for you to explore and develop in ways that align with your own values, hopes, and goals. With over twenty years experience across a range of roles in education, from elementary through high school classroom teacher, special education teacher, and into leadership, I understand the impact of learning differences and mental health on relationships, families and individuals. I specialized in neurodivergence and continue to offer a range of supports for individuals and families with ASD. For many years, I have lived and worked in isolated and remote Indigenous communities and I work from a decolonizing and culturally empathetic space. I know firsthand the stress and pressure that can come with not fitting neatly into a standard or expected identity and I am passionate about creating safer, braver, inclusive environments and uplifting the voices of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.

I support individuals and families with a range of challenges including (but not limited to):
